Why “A-Line Neighbors”?

The Key System “A” train connected East Oakland to the rest of the city, and reached as far as Berkeley and San Francisco. The A Line ended right here on Havenscourt Boulevard, and it made the development of our neighborhoods possible.

The video shows the Key System and other early Bay Area public transportation in action. Want more? Read a little of our neighborhood history.
